Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital, Barkot (Yamunotri Dham Route), District Uttarkashi started its services for the community from 24th September, 2017. The hospital is located 50 km before Yamunotri Dham on the main highway and is serving the local community as well as the pilgrims en route to Yamunotri Dham. Our hospital is open all the year round and is catering to the health needs of more than 70 remote hilly and underserved villages of the area.
Barkot is a remote hilly village situated at an altitude of 4003 feet on the banks of river Yamuna. It is a major destination for adventure-seekers and nature-lovers for its challenging trekking trails and scenic panoramas.
