National Excellence Award to Dr. Anuj for outstanding Contribution in the Medical Field
Dr. Anuj Singhal, who have contributed to the health sector, have been awarded the 35th Sheila – TP Jhunjhunwala National Excellence Award. The awards were presented by renowned classical dancer and former MP, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Man Singh. The 35th Sheila TP Jhunjhunwala Foundation National Excellence Awards were presented at a program organized at the Chinmaya Mission Auditorium in the capital. Foundation Chairperson and former Hindustan Times Editor Sheila Jhunjhunwala said that since 1989, the Foundation has been engaged in serving the poor, the helpless, widows and the handicapped. Dr. Anuj Singhal , the recipient of the National Excellence Award, is given for his lifelong dedication to humanity, efficient leadership and unmatched organisational skills in building healthcare facilities, promoting education and developing life-skills among tribal people. Their current thrust is to provide life-saving healthcare services for pilgrims in the remote, inaccessible, high-altitude areas of the Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand. The heartbeat and the guardian spirit of Swami Vivekanand Health Mission Society, Dehradun have been the vital inspiration in ensuring that the footprints of the mission reach far and wide. Currently running 14 hospitals in various parts of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
