A multi-specialty including a special surgical camp was organized at Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital, Dharmawala on Sunday, 26th of June 2022. The highlight of this last Sunday camp was the Surgery camp organised in collaboration with the “The Association of Surgeons of India” & “Uttar Pradesh Association of Surgeons of India” and Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital, Dharmawala. The dignitaries who graced the hospital by their visit included Dr. Siddesh G. (President, The Association of Surgeons of India), Dr. D. Maruthu Pandian (Director, Social Welfare Council, The Association of Surgeons of India) and Dr. J. P. Sharma (President, Uttar Pradesh Association of Surgeons of India) among host of other renowned and eminent Surgeons.
The day began with ceremonial lighting of lamps before the portraits of Bharat Mata and Swami Vivekanand by Dr. Sudha Lavania Ji, Senior Gynaecologist, Agra and other guests along with regular prayers. The team then proceeded to OT where a total of 12 surgeries were conducted successfully.
To honour the visiting team of Surgeons, a small program was organised in which the Secretary of SVHM Society Dr Anuj Singhal welcomed the guests who were then felicitated with bouquets and mementos. The guests were later shown a documentary depicting the Society’s journey followed by speeches by respective dignitaries in which they shared their valuable thoughts and experiences. The program concluded with a vote of thanks address given by Dr. Tarashree Singhal Ji.
The camp had regular availability of other consultants and overall 378 patients benefited from the camp.
