Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital, Dharmawala is running three community health programs for tribal villages situated in and around Dharmawala which are mentioned below:
1)Anaemia Prevention and Control Program
2) Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness and Screening Program
3) My Pad (Menstrual Hygiene) Program
To strengthen Menstrual Hygiene Program, a new additional project called “सुरक्षा” has been started where we are manufacturing sanitary pad as well as promoting and distributing them.
At: Shahpur-Kalyanpur Vilage
On 11-07-2022 & 12-07-2022, Monday and Tuesday
– Community Mobilization drive was conducted.
– Village Pradhan, Anganwadi and Asha workers, School Principals were also informed in person about the project starting in their village.
– The place was identified and arranged for conducting the awareness session.
On 13-07-2022, Wednesday
Following sessions were conducted by Dr. Tarashree Singhal Ji at Jr. High School, Shahpur:
– Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness along with Video presentations of the beneficiaries.
– Menstrual Hygiene Awareness
– Briefing of Anameia Prevention and Control Program
Total number of participants: 63
On 14-07-2022 & 15-07-2022, Thursday and Friday
– House visits were done of the 13th July participants to fill their survey forms as well as to distribute high quality Sanitary Pad packets (सुरक्षा) manufactured at Dharmawala hospital.
– Total सुरक्षा beneficiaries: 75
