Dharmawala hospital organized a community medical camp in Khala Shastri Nagar Area (Urban Slum) of Dehradun city. An outbreak of Acute Gastroenteritis has occurred in this area for the last few days in which unfortunately some deaths have also occurred.
On the request of CMO Dehradun, this medical camp was organized in the primary school of this area from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm on 9th of September at a very short notice.
A total of 208 patients were examined in the camp and medicines and ORS packets were distributed.
Also, health education related to prevention of water borne diseases was also given to the beneficiaries.
