A breast and cervical cancer awareness and check-up camp was organized by Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital, Dharmawala in tribal rural area Shahpur village, Block Vikasnagar on 11th Feb 2023.
Dr. Tarashree Singhal provided her services by giving an awareness session through the presentation and gave complete guidelines on Breast and Cervical Cancer (Symptoms, Risk, Prevention, Treatment), Menstrual Hygiene, Self breast examination etc.
With the aim that no woman should suffer from breast and uterine cancer and the disease should be detected and timely treatment should be done, a small checkup camp was also organized. A total of 26 beneficiaries availed the facilities in these camps. The major tests carried out in the camp were Breast Light test and Pap Smear test.
At the end of the program, to further increase the motivation of the participants, they were shown the feedback videos of the beneficiaries.
