Shri Maharshi Bhrigu Charitable Hospital, Ujeli (Gangotri Dham Route), District Uttarkashi started its services for the community from 18th December, 2016. The hospital is located 100 km before Gangotri Dham on the main highway and is serving the local population as well as the pilgrims enroute to Gangotri Dham. Our hospital is open 365 days a year and is catering to the health needs of more than 250 remote hilly and underserved villages of the area.
Uttarkashi is a hilly town situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi at an altitude of 3822 feet above sea level. Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams and temples and also to the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.
