Dr. Prashant Lavania meticulously covered all essential aspects of Urethral Catheterization. As our SVHM hospitals are located in the hilly and remote areas and from where tertiary care centers are far off, equipping our SVHM Doctors on ways to manage retention of urine was highly beneficial. Dr. Prashant mentioned about the various causes of retention of urine and also explained some alternative methods to deal such cases and how to proceed with catheterization procedure.
The session generated lots of queries of the SVHM Doctors mostly coming out of real-life situations, which were then cleared and explained by the expert nicely and comprehensively.
