Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital, Dharmawala organized a counseling and awareness session on adolescence and its related problems at Baba Bhuman Shah Vidya Mandir, run by Sadhna Kendra Ashram, Dumet on 11 February 2023. Dr. Tarashree, senior doctor0 of SVCH, Dharmawala was the main speaker of the event and through the presentation told the girls of class 4 to 8 on menstrual hygiene, personal and public cleanliness, mood swings, physical, behavioral and hormonal changes in adolescence, balanced and nutritious diet, etc. A total of 55 adolescent girls attended the session and enthusiastically expressed their views openly and cleared their doubts.
At the end of the session, high quality sanitary pads made in Dharmawala Hospital were distributed free of cost to the adolescent girls and women staff of the ashram.
