World kidney day celebrated on 2nd Thursday of March every year. This year the day falls on 10th March Thursday 2022 and the slogan is “Kidney Health for All – Bridge the knowledge gap to better kidney care.” The webinar was held from 08:00 pm onwards on 10th March in which all members of SVHM hospitals attended the program.
The meeting began with a prayer session which was then followed by inauguration done by Dr. Anuj Singhal, Secretary of SVHM Society.
We SVHM Society doctors and all staffs pledge to work for a “HEALTHY KIDNEYS HEALTHY NATIONS” project by giving public awareness and screening for making a “healthy kidney for everyone everywhere” starting from village community level. An introduction and welcome address was given by Dr. Deepak Sinha, Senior Consultant.
The meeting was organised and chaired by Dr. Anuj Singhal.
A brief talk by Dr. Karunan Kannampoyilil, Senior Nephrologist (Retd. Govt: Medical College Kerala- Kerala University of Health Sciences) & founder member International federation of kidney foundation and World Kidney Day about the present day problem of kidney health in India and world.
