Inauguration of Swami RamPrakash Charitable Hospital, Haridwar

Fulfilling the long-standing aspirations of the saints, pilgrims, devotees and needy persons of holy city of Haridwar, the ninth hospital of the SVHM society was inaugurated on 24th January 2021 among chanting of Vedic hymns and Havan. This hospital named ‘Swami RamPrakash Charitable Hospital’ is a 30-bedded facility and is equipped with latest and modern medical equipment and logistics. This hospital will be providing totally free medical services to the saints and financially poor people and has a separate dedicated eye department also among other disciplines.

Inspired by the service spirit of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, hundreds of Doctors and other volunteers across the country worked selflessly and tirelessly to make this health initiative a reality before the auspicious “Kumbh Mela” which is due to begin from 11th March 2021 and will attract approximately 1.25 lakhs of pilgrims daily. If any of devotees/pilgrims require medical care and services, the ‘Swami RamPrakash Charitable Hospital’ will be there to help and treat these sick people.

 

A statue of Swami Vivekanand was also unveiled on the auspicious occasion and the great personalities from the saint community gave their blessings and emphasized the importance of Swami Vivekanand Health Mission Society.

The program was presided over by Junapithadheeshwar Mahamandaleshwar Swami Awadheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj. Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vishveshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Viyoganand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Sant Pravar Shri Vijay Kaushal Ji Maharaj, Yogarishi Swami Ramdev Ji, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sah Sarkaryavah Dr. Krishnagopal Ji as distinguished guests. Many other prominent personalities were also present including Akhil Bhartiya Gram Vikas Pramukh Dr. Dinesh Ji of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Shri Dinesh Ji, Patron of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Swami Rupendra Prakash Ji, Mahant Avadhoot Mandal Ashram and Dr. S K Verma, President of Swami Vivekanand Health Mission Society.

Honourable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat also graced the event by his dignified presence during the Havan in the morning. As always, the blessings of the revered Mata Mangala Ji and Bhole Ji Maharaj, the founders of Hans Foundation, also remained with this mission.

During the program Ram Katha Vachak, Swami Vijay Kaushal Ji Maharaj announced to donate his ashram premises spread over 25 acres in Vrindavan to Swami Vivekanand Health Mission to make a new hospital for the health facilities of saints and needy people there. The doctors involved in the mission have decided to take up this work with full devotion, dedication and enthusiasm to serve the people of Mathura-Vrindavan by establishing a hospital hopefully later this year.
