The Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital (SVCH) at Petshal, Almora which is situated at an altitude of 5400 feet and is 22 kms from Jageshwar Dham achieved another milestone when two major laparoscopic procedures were performed using latest equipment and techniques on 26th of this month.
The hospital conducted two successful laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgeries (Gallbladder removal) which were performed by the team of Dr. Ajay Agarwal, a senior Surgeon and Dr. Atul Joshi, senior Anesthesiologist both from Rudrapur, and was supported by the OT Technician Mr. Rakesh Uniyal.
The two patients hailing from villages around Almora came to know about the hospital’s high-quality services from the members of their community who had previously availed the same and had benefited.
The duo of Dr. Ajay Agarwal and Dr. Atul Joshi along with their teams and equipment traveled almost 140 km and more than 4 hours to reach Petshal and performed the procedure on 26th July 2020 thus achieving yet another landmark in the history of this hospital.
